Your Hosts

Your hosts, from left to right, Michael, Brent, and Blayne, joined by Rumble the Bison.
Brent
brent@okcthundercast.com
Brent is a lifetime Okie whose passion for basketball was born on November 2nd, 2005 when the Hornets played the first regular season NBA game ever in the Sooner state. A fan of all Oklahoman sports teams, Brent grew up in the Tulsa area cheering on the Drillers, Oilers, and Golden Hurricane in football and basketball. He also adopted the Chicago Cubs while watching WGN in the summers. Now that Oklahoma has earned its franchise, he’s a lifelong Thunder fan and an ever-improving student of the game. When he’s not “Ay-ooo-ing” in the Ford Center, he likes checking out historical non-fiction books and diverse podcasts that can carve new wrinkles into his brain.
Blayne
blayne@okcthundercast.com
An Oklahoma native, Blayne is an IT professional and musician, supplying the original theme music for the OKC ThunderCast. Blayne has long been a fan of professional sports, and hoped for the NBA to come to OKC long before we were even on the road to the possibility. After being an avid Hornets fan and anxious consumer of news related to the basketball developments over the past couple of years, Blayne was thrilled beyond words at the Thunder arrival, and wound up delivering the first game ball in the Ford Center at the Thunder vs. Clippers preseason game.
Michael

Michael was raised in Chicago and studied Computer Science at the University of Tulsa. He has worked as a programmer since 1998. Michael moved to Oklahoma City in 2003 to work for the government, where he met Blayne. After four years of incessant government red-tape and incompetent management, Michael moved into the energy industry. Michael is also an avid baseball fan and fantasy guru, rooting for his native Cubbies from afar.
