#44: Thunder 2010 NBA Draft
The Thunder shake up the NBA draft with bold trades and a few million dollars.
The 2010 NBA Draft was a side story tonight for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Sam Presti filled the Thunder‘s holes in the middle and on the perimeter with quality players Daequan Cook, Cole Aldrich, and Morris Peterson, none of whom were drafted by the Thunder. Presti demonstrated his propensity for basketball alchemy by bartering late-round draft picks to acquire two veteran three-point shooters and one of the best centers available in the draft.
In this show, recorded during the draft, your favorite Thunder podcast trio share their immediate reaction to the exciting twists and turns of draft night, try to deduce the method in the apparent madness, and speculate on the Thunder’s involvement in this summer’s free agent frenzy.
