We have been reading Welcome To Loud City, a Thunder blog, for quite a while and we met Zorgon at a game early last season. We have respected his writing and style and thought that this season we could combine our efforts with his to provide you with the best possible coverage of the Oklahoma City Thunder.



Producing, recording, and editing a podcast takes time. Since Brent, Blayne, and I have full time jobs that do not involve the Thunder, we do not have time to produce daily shows. Rather than trying to turn our site into a blog, we have partnered with Welcome to Loud City so that we can focus on our specialty and still provide you with a quality blog.



You will still be able to listen to us from our web site, through iTunes, or any other way you currently listen and you will also be able to listen directly from the Welcome to Loud City site. The only change will be in our commenting system. When we post a show on okcthundercast.com, we will add a corresponding post to Welcome to Loud City. The posts on okcthundercast.com will have comments disabled, but will have a link to the Welcome to Loud City post where you will be able to post comments with a large community of  Thunder fans. For example, you can submit your comments for this post on our Welcome to Loud City post announcing our partnership.



In the end, we think this decision will provide you with more frequent information about the Thunder while maintaining the high quality you have come to expect. So enjoy the new community and let the Thunder roll!
